Saint Petersburg – Peterhof

Beyond the wall the trees are facing the Baltic Sea which horizon leads to Tallinn, Helsinki and, a bit farer, Stockholm. Keeping an eye on the Sea they appeared to be on duty to warn the Peterhof residents of a possible foreign invasion. Two of the trees resemble wounded warriors shaking under the wind, while the Lieutenant resists.

Au-delà des murs ces arbres font face à la Mer Baltique dont l’horizon mène à Tallinn, Helsinki et, un peu plus loin, Stockholm. Gardant un oeil sur la mer ils semblaient missionnés pour prévenir les habitants de Perterhof d’un éventuel débarquement ennemi. Deux des arbres sont comme des soldats blessés alors que le lieutenant tient bon.
